MyE911 - How to Resolve "I wasn't able to connect" Error

Due to changes in federal regulations, users of the Five9 Softphone platform are required to also use MyE911 for emergency call location services.

Mann IT automatically deploys this software and associated configuration to affected systems, however some users may get an error popup that the application was unable to connect. This happens when the application installs before the configuration script can run.



Please follow these steps to manually set the host URL:


  1. Open the system tray (bottom left of screen) by clicking the ^ arrow.




  2. Right click on the MyE911 application icon - a red circle with 'MY'. Click 'Settings'.




  3. In the settings windows, enter 'https://five9.e911cloud.com' in the Host field. Click Save.
