Access to ChemDraw

Modified on: Thu, 30 Jan 2025 9:09 AM

Updated Jan 2025: Signals ChemDraw has transitioned to a new user-based licensing model. If you had access to ChemDraw before Feb 5, 2025, you will need to contact Mann IT to request a new license.

Overview

Faculty, staff, and students of USC Mann may request access to ChemDraw, a tool for visualizing chemical structures. This includes access to ChemDraw Collections, the rebranded version of ChemOffice+.

A note about ChemDraw in the browser

If you access ChemDraw using the browser (either Signals Notebook Individual Edition or ChemDraw Cloud), be aware that the vendor is discontinuing this product. Per the vendor, "all data in Signals Notebook Individual Edition will be destroyed after the product reaches End of Life, and will not be recoverable."

To avoid losing your data, you will need to migrate or export all your data before Feb 5, 2025:
